Hey there little one! Do you know what a working dog is? Some dogs have very important jobs, just like grown-ups do!

Working dogs are special dogs that have specific jobs to do. They work for humans to help them with tasks that they cannot do alone or tasks that are too dangerous for humans to do alone. There are many kinds of working dogs, like police dogs, service dogs, guide dogs and even farm dogs!

Police dogs are super cool. They are trained to help the police officers catch bad guys who break the law. They have a great sense of smell and can sniff out drugs or bombs. They help keep people safe.

Service dogs are trained to help people with disabilities. They can help blind people cross the street safely. They can also help people in a wheelchair pick up things that are too far away. They are very helpful because they can fetch things for their humans, and even alert them if there is danger.

Guide dogs are also amazing. They help people who are blind or visually impaired to get around safely. They are very loyal and can help their human navigate around obstacles on the street, such as steps or curbs.

Lastly, there are farm dogs. They are very hardworking dogs that live on farms and help farmers with difficult tasks. They help herd animals, such as sheep or cows, and protect them from harm.
