World Association of Nuclear Operators

World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) is an international organization that helps nuclear power plants work safely and efficiently. WANO helps the plants by giving advice, sharing best practices, and training workers. All of the world's nuclear power plants are members of WANO. The organization helps them stay safe by making sure the plants have procedures and systems to help prevent accidents. WANO also courses and guidance for responding safely if an accident happens.
