World Heritage Sites

World Heritage Sites are places that are very important and special to all people around the world. These special places can be things like really old buildings or other cool things that have a lot of history and culture behind them.

When a place or object is given the title of a World Heritage Site, it means that lots of people agree that it is so important that it should be protected and preserved for future generations to enjoy.

To become a World Heritage Site, a place needs to meet certain requirements. It needs to be important in history, culture, or science. It also needs to show how people used to live, grow food, or create art.

There are lots of World Heritage Sites around the world, and some of the most famous ones include things like the Great Pyramids in Egypt, the Great Wall of China, and the Statue of Liberty in New York.
