Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is a big outdoor playground filled with lots of beautiful things to see and do. It's kind of like a really, really big backyard that's full of mountains, trees, waterfalls, and animals just waiting to be explored and discovered.

One of the biggest things that makes Yosemite National Park so special is its mountains. These mountains are really tall and pointy, and they're called the Sierra Nevada. They're covered in snow during the winter and surrounded by beautiful forests during the spring and summer. People love to hike up these mountains and see the views from the top, which can be really amazing.

Another thing that makes Yosemite National Park so cool is its waterfalls. Waterfalls are like giant showers that come from way up high and drop down to the ground below. Also, there are lots of animals in Yosemite. Some of these animals are really big, like bears, and some are really small, like squirrels. There are lots of birds, too! Some people like to go on "nature walks" in Yosemite to see all of the different animals and plants that are around.
