Zeeman energy

Zeeman energy is the energy that comes from a magnetic field. It is named after Pieter Zeeman, a Dutch scientist who discovered this in 1896. The energy comes from when a moving electric charge, like an electron, gets affected by the magnetic field. The amount of energy it gets depends on the strength of the magnetic field and how fast the electric charge is moving.
