Zettabyte Era

The zettabyte era is the time when the amount of data being stored and used on computers is so large that it's measured in zettabytes. A zettabyte is a very big number—it's one trillion gigabytes. That's as much data as there would be if you took a trillion 1-gigabyte hard drives and filled them up. As more people use the internet and mobile phones, the amount of data created and stored worldwide keeps growing. This has caused us to enter the zettabyte era, when it's necessary to rely on huge amounts of storage and computing power to keep up with our data storage needs.
