Zucchetto

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a hat that the Pope wears? It's called a zucchetto! It's a small cap that is usually red or white and is worn by high-ranking people in the Catholic Church, like the Pope or bishops.

The zucchetto goes on the top of their head and is like a little symbol of their power and authority within the Church. It's made out of soft fabric and is usually about the size of a small apple.

Sometimes you might also see the zucchetto worn by other important people in the Church, like cardinals or priests. So, if you see someone wearing a little red or white cap in the Church, it's probably a zucchetto!
