linux processes

Linux processes are like tasks or jobs that the computer does. When you open a new program or do something on the computer, that creates a new process. The processes can be seen like little people inside the computer. Each person takes a specific job that needs to be done to help your computer work faster. The computer manages each process to make sure they all get done in the right order and that none of them get stuck.
