Bonfire

A bonfire is like a big campfire that lots of people can hang out around. You start by finding a good spot to make the fire. Then you gather up lots of sticks, twigs, and logs to burn. You pile them up in a circle and light them on fire.

As the fire gets bigger, sometimes people will throw marshmallows on sticks into the flames to roast them. Or they might sing songs, tell stories, or just enjoy the warmth of the fire.

It's important to be very careful with bonfires, though. Sometimes they can get too big, or the flames can jump and start a bigger fire. Always make sure there's an adult around to make sure everything is safe.
