Environmental impact design

Environmental impact design is designing things that don’t hurt the environment. For example, when people design buildings for people to live in or roads for cars to drive on, the designers can make sure to use materials that won’t hurt the environment or hurt the animals that live near it and can also design the buildings and roads to use less energy. Designers can also think about how their design might affect the air and water, so that it’s still clean and healthy for humans and animals.
