Intaglio (burial mound)

Intaglio is when you dig a big hole in the ground. People used to do this a long time ago to bury their dead. They would put the body in the big hole, and then they would put big stones or logs on top of it to make a mound. This mound is like a big hill so you can remember the person who died and visit the grave.
