Pyramid

A pyramid is a big building that looks like a triangle with a flat top. Imagine stacking up blocks of different sizes one on top of the other to form a triangle, and then keeping the top block flat. That is a pyramid!

Pyramids were built a long time ago by ancient Egyptians. They used huge blocks of stone to build them and it was really hard work! Inside the pyramid, there was a burial chamber where the body of a pharaoh (king) was kept after they died.

Pyramids were built to be really strong and last a very long time. They were used as a final resting place for important people, like pharaohs, and were surrounded by different objects that they believed the person would need in the next life.

Pyramids are often seen as symbols of power and greatness, and they are an important part of history.
