Île Rouleau crater

Okay, so have you ever played with play-doh and made a ball? Well, imagine if that ball was actually made of rock and was HUGE! That's what île Rouleau Crater is, a giant ball-shaped hole in the ground.

A long, long time ago, there was a really big explosion on the surface of the Earth. This explosion was so powerful that it created a giant hole in the ground. Over time, the walls of the hole slowly collapsed, creating what we now call île Rouleau Crater.

Now, this crater is really special because it's located under the water! That means there's a lot of cool things living around it like fish, coral, and other sea creatures.

Scientists have studied this crater to learn more about how it formed and what it can tell us about the history of the Earth. It's pretty amazing to think that something so big and powerful happened so long ago, and we can still see the evidence of it today!
