ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

103rd meridian west

Okay kiddo, so you know the Earth is a big round ball, right? And people have made imaginary lines called meridians that go from the North Pole to the South Pole all the way around the Earth to help them figure out where things are.

The 103rd meridian west is one of those lines! It starts at the North Pole, goes down through Canada, the United States, Mexico, and all the way to the South Pole.

It's kind of like a really long piece of string that helps people know where they are on Earth. So if someone says they're located on the 103rd meridian west, it means they're somewhere along that line.

Pretty cool, huh?
