1911 Revolution

They also didn't like the Emperor who was the head of the government because he was mean and didn't listen to them.

So, a man named Sun Yat-sen got a group of people together and they made a plan to overthrow the government and get rid of the Emperor. They worked really hard and eventually, they were successful! This was a big deal because it was the first time in China's history that the people had overthrown their government.

After that, the people of China were able to start a new government that was more fair and listened to what they wanted. It was like getting a new toy box that wasn't old and broken, and a new friend who was nice and didn't boss you around.
