ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

2+2 road

Have you ever been driving on a really big road with a lot of lanes and lots of cars? That big road is kind of like 2+2 road!

You know how when you add two things together, you get a bigger number? That's kind of like what happens with 2+2 road.

Instead of having just one lane going each way like on a small road, 2+2 road has two lanes going one way, and two lanes going the other way. So all together, there are four lanes in total!

The extra lanes help make it easier and faster for lots of cars to drive on the road at the same time. That way, everyone can get to where they need to go faster and safer.

So whenever you're driving on a big road with lots of lanes going both ways, just remember that it's kind of like 2+2 road because there are four lanes in total!
