ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Aṭṭhakavagga and Pārāyanavagga

Okay kiddo, there are two important parts of a very old book called the Tipitaka. One part is called the aṭṭhakavagga and the other part is called the pārāyanavagga.

The aṭṭhakavagga talks a lot about how people can learn to be really happy and peaceful. It explains that it's important to let go of things that make you feel bad, like anger or jealousy. And it also talks about how people can be kind and caring to each other, which makes everyone feel good.

The pārāyanavagga is about finding a path that leads to true happiness and freedom. It talks about how people can learn to be wise and see things in a really clear way. It also explains that it's important to treat everyone with respect and compassion, even if they are different from you.

Both of these parts are really important for people who follow a religion called Buddhism, because they help people learn how to be kind, peaceful, and wise.
