ANOVA gauge R&R

Anova gauge R&R is a way of finding out if a measuring tool used to measure something is accurate. It is used to measure how much of the difference between measurements of the same thing is caused by the measuring tool (called the gauge), and how much is caused by other differences.

To do this, Anova gauge R&R takes a group of objects and measures them all with the same measuring tool. Then it looks at how much the measurements differ from each other. If a lot of the difference is caused by the measuring tool, then it's not accurate.
