ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

ATI Technologies

ATI Technologies was a Canadian graphics card and computer technology company. It was acquired by AMD in 2006 and is now known as AMD Radeon Graphics. Graphics cards are important printed circuit boards (PCBs) that help your computer or gaming device create images on a display. They are a key component when it comes to gaming and displaying videos, since they are responsible for making sure that all the images on the screen look clear and sharp. ATI Technologies' products were used in many PC and gaming consoles, like the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3. Their main product line were the Radeon graphics cards, which allowed users to display better images and details on their screens. ATI Technologies also operated several other parts of the technology industry, like a strong research and development team, an AI (artificial intelligence) lab and a powerful cloud computing platform.
