Academic year

An academic year is a really long time when students and teachers spend lots of time learning things. It usually starts in the fall and goes until the following spring or summer. During the academic year, students go to school almost every day and learn all kinds of things like reading, writing, math, science, and history. Teachers help students learn by explaining things in a fun and easy way. At the end of the academic year, students usually get grades to show how well they did in their classes. Then they get to take a break for a little while before starting a new year all over again.
