ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Actin

Actin is like the scaffolding of your cells that helps them keep their shape and move around. It's a tiny protein that's kind of like a little building block that cells use to create structures inside of themselves. Think of it like Legos that cells use to build things! Actin is also involved in muscle movement, helping your muscles contract and relax when you move your body. It's important for many things that your body does, like crawling around as a baby, running around the playground, and even breathing! So, actin is a very important protein that helps your cells and body function properly.
