Actuators

Actuators are like the arms and legs of a robot or machine. Just like how you use your arms and legs to move things around, actuators move parts or objects within a machine. They work by changing energy (like electricity or air) into movement.

For example, think of a robotic arm that needs to pick up a toy. The motor inside the robotic arm is an actuator that is able to make the arm move up and down, left and right, and even turn around. This allows the robotic arm to grab the toy and move it to where it needs to go.

There are many different types of actuators, including electric motors, hydraulic cylinders, and pneumatic systems. Each type of actuator uses a different source of energy to make things move.

Overall, actuators are important because they help machines and robots do all kinds of tasks that would be difficult or impossible for humans to do on their own.
