Adultery

Adultery is when someone chooses to have a romantic relationship with someone who is not their husband or wife. This is considered cheating because the marriage vow says the couple will stay faithful to each other and not have a romantic relationship with anyone else. It can hurt the other person in the marriage and make them feel sad and betrayed.
