Aesthetics (textile)

Okay kiddo, do you know how sometimes we wear clothes or have blankets around that we think look really neat or pretty? That's called aesthetics!

Aesthetics in textile is about how good something looks and feels. We care about the colors, patterns and textures of things like clothing, curtains, and blankets.

When we choose clothes to wear, we might pick something that looks pretty or cool to us, or maybe something that helps us fit in with our friends. We also might pick something that feels good against our skin or is comfortable to wear.

Designers who make textiles, like fabric or yarn, think a lot about aesthetic too. They might make patterns with different colors or shapes that they think look really nice together.

Basically, aesthetics is all about how things look and feel, and it's really important to how we dress ourselves and decorate our homes.
