African American Founding Fathers of the United States are people of African descent who helped create the United States of America. These people wrote some of the key documents that are now known as the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution, and they also helped shape the government and policies of the United States. Some of these influential African Americans include Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, John Randolph, James Madison, and Phillis Wheatley. They all worked together to make sure that everyone in the United States was treated fairly and had equal rights, regardless of their race or background.
