African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States

The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) is like a big family made up of 79 countries. All these countries are special because they are very close to each other and they all have to work together. All 79 countries, which include African and Caribbean countries and countries from the Pacific region like the Cook Islands and Vanuatu, have come together to help each other out and make sure their countries become better and better places to live. They are supported by the European Union and get help with things like agriculture and economic development from other countries in the group. This cooperation helps make sure that everyone has a chance to get better jobs and better lives in their own countries and that the world can work together for the good of everyone.
