ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Agritourism

Agritourism is when people go visit farms or ranches to learn about agriculture, which is the science of farming. It's like going on a fun and educational field trip to the countryside where you can pet animals, pick fruits and vegetables, ride on tractors, and learn about how farmers take care of their plants and animals.

You get to see up close how food is grown and harvested, and sometimes even participate in the process yourself. Some farms have special activities like hayrides, pumpkin patches or corn mazes, and you can also buy fresh produce or homemade goods from the farmers' market.

Overall, agritourism is a fun way to learn about farming, meet animals, and appreciate the hard work that goes into producing our food.
