Aileron

An aileron is a part of an airplane. It helps the plane change direction. When the pilot moves the joystick, the aileron moves too. Each side of the airplane has an aileron. The aileron on one side goes up and the aileron on the other side goes down. This creates an unbalanced force that turns the airplane in the opposite direction of the aileron that goes up.
