Aimo Koivunen was a Finnish soldier who fought in World War II. During his service, he was a member of a group of soldiers tasked with carrying supplies through the snowy terrain of Finland.
One day, Aimo became very sick with a fever and was not able to keep up with the rest of his team. As they continued on, Aimo began to fall further and further behind until he was eventually left alone in the woods.
To keep himself alive, Aimo started eating methamphetamine tablets that had been given to soldiers to help them stay awake during their long treks. Unfortunately, Aimo didn't know how to take the tablets properly and ended up taking way too many, which made him very sick.
Despite his illness, Aimo kept walking and eventually stumbled upon a cabin where he was able to get help. He was taken to a hospital where he was treated for his drug overdose and was eventually able to recover.
Aimo's story is a cautionary tale about the dangers of misusing drugs and the importance of taking care of yourself during challenging times.
