Akinetic mutism

Akinetic mutism is a condition where a person cannot make their muscles move or speak, even though they are awake. It can make it very hard for them to do things like walk, eat, or even talk. It is caused by damage to the part of the brain that helps control movement and speaking. It is a very disabling condition and can make things like working, attending school, and even taking care of yourself very hard.
