Akira Haraguchi is a Japanese man who memorized and recited a total of 100,000 digits of the mathematical constant pi. He did this over the course of 10 years and it took him 16 hours and 30 minutes to recite the numbers from memory. His amazing accomplishment has been recognized by the Guinness World Records and he is now known as the Guinness World Records holder for memorizing and reciting the most digits of pi.
