Alaska Natives

Alaska Natives are the indigenous people that have lived in Alaska for thousands of years. They have their own culture, language and traditions that are very different than the cultures of other parts of the US. They were the first people to settle in Alaska and have been living there since long before it became part of the US. These days, many Alaskan Natives still practice their traditional way of life, while also taking part in modern activities like going to school, running businesses and using technology.
