Algal fuel

Algae are tiny plants that live in the water, like the green stuff you might see in a pond or aquarium. These little plants are very special because they can produce something called "biofuel", which is a special kind of fuel that can be used to power things like cars and trucks.

To create algae biofuel, scientists use a special process called "cultivation" to grow lots and lots of algae in big tanks. They need to be very careful when they do this because they want the algae to grow as fast as possible, without any bad stuff growing alongside them.

Once the algae are ready, they are harvested and then processed to extract the liquid fuel from the plants. This is done by a series of steps that involve separating the oil from the other parts of the algae, cleaning it up, and turning it into a fuel that can be used in our cars and trucks.

Algae biofuel is special because it is made from renewable resources, meaning that it can be reproduced over and over again. And, unlike regular gasoline or diesel, it doesn't pollute the environment as much, which is great news for our planet.
