ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Algebraic signal processing

Algebraic signal processing is a way of studying signals (like sound, light, and voice) that uses math. In algebraic signal processing, we use equations, shapes, and numbers to understand how signals work. We can use this understanding to improve how signals sound, how long they last, or how easy they are to understand. For example, we can use algebraic signal processing to make a phone call sound clearer, or to make a song louder.
