Algorithmic bias

Algorithmic bias is when a computer program makes decisions in a biased way. This means the computer program might make decisions based on the gender, race, or age of a person instead of their skills and abilities. An example of algorithmic bias is if a computer program was built to decide who got a job, but it only hired people of one race. That would be an example of algorithmic bias.
