Aluminium–air battery

An aluminium-air battery is like a magic jar that can make electricity to help things run. The jar has special ingredients inside that can make a chemical reaction happen to create electricity.

Inside the jar, there is a metal called aluminium and a liquid called electrolyte. When they are mixed together, they make something very special called aluminum hydroxide. This substance helps to make tiny bits of electricity inside the jar.

But the jar also needs something else to make more electricity. It needs air, just like you and I need air to breathe. When the air goes into the jar, it mixes with the aluminum hydroxide and sends little electric particles called electrons out of the jar to create electricity.

The electricity can be used to power things like toys, lights or even cars because it is a clean and powerful energy. The best part is, the only thing that comes out of the jar is something called water vapor, which is just water that looks like a tiny cloud.

So, an aluminium-air battery is like a magic jar that can make electricity from the special ingredients inside, mixed with air to create little particles of energy called electrons. It is good for the environment because it only gives off water vapor.
