American Creed

American Creed is something like a promise between citizens of the United States of America. It's a set of beliefs and values that all American citizens share, like freedom of speech, equality, opportunity and taking personal responsibility for our actions. It reminds us that we are all connected as Americans, no matter our differences. We may have different backgrounds and live in different places, but we are all part of the same country with the same set of beliefs.
