American Flag Rugby

American flag rugby is a fun sport that people play where they try to score points by carrying a special flag in their hand into their opponent's end of the field. It's called rugby because it's similar to a game from a far away place called New Zealand, but in American flag rugby, the players use special flags instead of tackling each other.

When you play American flag rugby, each team has seven players who run up and down the field trying to score points. The field is a big rectangle with goal posts at each end. It's kind of like playing tag while holding the special flag: if a player from one team takes a flag from a player on the other team, that's like scoring a point. If a player with the flag gets tagged by a player on the other team, they have to stop running and try again.

Everyone has to be very careful while playing American flag rugby because it's important to be safe and not hurt anyone. People wear special equipment to protect their head, mouth, and hands so they don't get hurt while playing. Coaches and referees are there to make sure everyone follows the rules and plays fairly.

Playing American flag rugby is a great way to exercise and have fun with your friends. Whether you win or lose, the important thing is to have fun, stay safe, and enjoy the game!
