Amhara nationalism

Okay, so imagine you have a group of friends and you all come from the same place, let's say it's your neighborhood. You and your friends might feel a special connection to your neighborhood because you all grew up there together and share certain traditions and customs. That feeling you have for your neighborhood is kind of what Amhara nationalism is about.

In Ethiopia, there are many different ethnic groups, and one of them is the Amhara. Amhara nationalism is when Amhara people feel a strong sense of loyalty and pride for their ethnic group and the traditions and culture associated with it.

Sometimes, this pride can lead to conflict with other ethnic groups who may not share the same traditions or customs. It's important to remember that every group of people is unique and valuable, so it's always good to respect and appreciate others, even if they are different from us.
