Amott test

Okay kiddo, so the Amott test is a special type of test that doctors use to check if someone has something called carpal tunnel syndrome.

Do you know what that is? It’s when your hand starts to feel really tingly, numb, or have shooting pain.

The Amott test works by having you hold your hand in a certain way and then the doctor lightly taps on your wrist. If your hand suddenly feels extra tingly or painful after the tap, it might mean you have carpal tunnel syndrome.

It’s a quick and easy way for doctors to figure out what might be causing your hand problems. And don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt too bad!
