ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Anatomical terminology

Anatomical terminology is a set of words used to describe how different parts of the body are shaped and where they are located on the body. For example, the arm has a “shoulder,” an “elbow,” and a “hand.” Each of these parts has a specific name so that we can talk about them and know what part we mean. The shoulder is at the top of the arm, the elbow is in the middle, and the hand is at the end.
