Ancient Greece–Ancient India relations
Long ago, there were two countries called Ancient Greece and Ancient India. They were very far away from each other and they did not know about each other for a very long time. But, as time passed, people from Ancient Greece and Ancient India started to trade with each other, which means buying and selling things.
Ancient Greece was known for making beautiful sculptures and pottery, and they traded these things with Ancient India. In return, Ancient India would give Ancient Greece things like spices and cotton.
Both Ancient Greece and Ancient India were also known for their love for learning and knowledge. They both had famous philosophers who taught people about science, math, and medicine.
One famous Greek philosopher, named Pythagoras, came up with a math formula that is used even today. Another famous Indian philosopher, named Chanakya, wrote a book on politics that is still referred to by leaders today. Even though they lived in different parts of the world, they shared similar ideas about learning and discovering new things.
So, while they were different in many ways, Ancient Greece and Ancient India had a lot of similarities that helped them exchange goods and ideas for a long time.
