Androcentrism

Androcentrism means that people think men are more important than everyone else, especially women. Just like how some kids might think that the favorite toy belongs to them even though it's supposed to be shared. It's not fair, because girls and women are just as important as boys and men. Androcentrism can happen in lots of different ways, like when people assume that a job should be done by a man instead of a woman, or when they assume that men are smarter or better leaders than women. We need to remember that all people are important and deserve to be treated equally.
