Patriarchy

Patriarchy is a way of organizing society where men have most of the power and influence. Men are generally seen as more important, powerful, and respected than women. This means that in a patriarchal society, men are usually in charge of making decisions, making laws, and having jobs that pay more. Women are expected to take care of the home, take care of the family, and have jobs that don't pay as much or be less important.
