Anthropocene

The Anthropocene is a new time period that is different from the time periods we used to have. It started when humans began to have a big impact on the environment. This includes things like cutting down trees, polluting the air and water, and changing land use. Scientists have noticed that because of these changes, our world today is very different than it was before. They decided to name this new time period the 'Anthropocene', which means 'the age of humans'.
