Anti-Defamation League

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is a group that works to stop people from using words and actions to hurt other people's feelings because of who they are or what they believe in. When people use a word or action that the ADL thinks is meant to hurt someone else, they work to stop it. Sometimes they do this by talking to the person or group that was hurt, and sometimes they help the person or group take legal action if needed. They also speak out against it in the media so that other people learn that it's wrong to hurt people's feelings.
