Applicative computing systems

An applicative computing system is a kind of computer system that can be used to do useful tasks like make pictures, play music, and run programs. It stores information on the computer, like pictures and music, and can access programs to help the computer carry out specific tasks. The computer can then follow instructions to complete those tasks. With applicative computing systems, you can do complicated tasks much faster than you would be able to do them by hand.
