Combinatory logic

Combinatory logic is a type of math used to explain how certain things can be combined to create other things. It's like playing with building blocks: you can join two blocks together to make something bigger, or you can split a block into two to make something smaller. When two things are combined, it's called a "combination". For example, if you combine two colors together, like red and blue, you will get the color purple! Combinatory logic can also be used to think about abstract things like ideas and philosophies.
