Aram-Naharaim is an ancient place that was located in the Middle East, around the area where Syria and Iraq are today. The name Aram means "highlands" and Naharaim means "two rivers," so the place was known as "the highlands between two rivers."
Basically, long, long ago, people lived there and they had their own way of life and culture. They spoke different languages and had different beliefs and customs. They built cities and traded with other people in the region.
Today, Aram-Naharaim is not a place that you can visit because it no longer exists as a distinct region. However, we can learn about it through historical documents and archaeological discoveries.
