Aram (region)

ARAM is like a big playground that is made up of many smaller playgrounds (called cities and towns) where people live and play. It is located in the Middle East, mostly in what is now Syria, but also some parts of Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey. People who lived there a long time ago called themselves Arameans and they had their own language and culture. Today, ARAM is an important historical and archaeological area that helps us understand how people lived a long time ago.
